Hundreds of communities in NY State are participating in Climate Smart Communities
Through the climate smart communities program the Village of Sag Harbor has committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in order to combat the climate crisis. By attaining bronze Status the Village of Sag Harbor will have better access to grant funding, save money by increasing efficiency and have state level recognition. Local governments that have achieved Bronze Status and Silver Status include both the Towns of Easthampton and Southampton as well as Suffolk County which has achieved Silver Status.
