THE VILLAGE OF SAG HARBOR IS ACCEPTING TRANSIENT MOORING RESERVATIONS

The Harbormaster is responsible for the enforcement of the Navigation Law, Penal Law, Local Law (Chapter 278) and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program. The Harbormaster also collects the required information from all foreign flag vessels as directed by Homeland Security.

In addition to regulating the waterways of the Village of Sag Harbor, this office also regulates the waterways of the Village of North Haven, under municipal agreement.

The Harbormaster’s Office overseas the management and collection of dockage fees for the Sag Harbor Village Marine Facilities. We offer both seasonal and transient dockage and moorings.

The Village of Sag Harbor is now accepting transient slip and mooring reservations for the 2015 boating season. We are also accepting transient dockage reservations for vessels from 100-175 feet in length. For information on transient slip reservations please contact the Harbormasters Office at (631) 725-2368. For annual (seasonal) dockage or moorings please contact Robin du Plessis at the Village Office at (631) 725-0222.

The boating season in Sag Harbor runs from April 1st through October 31st. Payment for dockage or moorings for returning customers is due, in full, by January 16, 2017. Any slips or moorings which remain unpaid as of January 16, 2017 will be reassigned.

Amenities:

Dock Personnel monitor VHF Channel 9 and the Harbormaster monitors Channel 16.

Free pump out service is provided.

Power Supply is either 30 or 50 amp.

Heads and showers are provided for marina and mooring field guests.

Potable water is provided for vessels in the Sag Harbor Village Mooring Field.

It is a short walk from any of our marina facilities to Sag Harbor shops, restaurants and public bus transportation.

Fees:

Overnight Stays: In Season (from one week before Memorial Day Weekend until one week after Labor Day Weekend).

Floating Docks – $4.00 per foot with a 30 ft. minimum.

Marine Park(Fixed Dock) – $5.00 per ft. with a 30 ft. minimum.

Moorings – $2.00 per ft. with a 25 ft. minimum.

Overnight Stays: Off Season

(From the start of the season until one week before Memorial Day Weekend and from one week after Labor Day Weekend until the end of the season).

Floating Docks – $3.00 per ft. with a 30 ft. minimum.

Marine Park(Fixed Dock) – $4.00 per ft. with a 30 ft. minimum.

Moorings – $2.00 per ft. with a 25 ft. minimum.

Short Stays:

On any dock facility the fee is $1.25 per ft., with a 20 ft. minimum, for up to 3 hours.

Long Wharf: (Vessels 100 ft. and longer).

From the start of the season until the Tuesday after Labor Day Weekend it is $6.00 per ft. with a 100 ft. minimum.

From the Tuesday after Labor Day Weekend until the end of the season it is $3.00 per ft. with a 100 ft. minimum.

Long Wharf Short Stays (Up to one hour) is $1.00 per ft. with a 100 ft. minimum.

Long Wharf Short Stay (Up to five hours) is $2.00 per ft. with a 100 ft. minimum.

Electric Fees:

30 amp. service is $15.00 per day.

50 amp. services is $20.00 per day.

Reservations:

We accept reservations for overnight stays only. Reservations are taken and confirmed by telephone (631)725-2368. The fee for half of the stay will be charged at the time of the reservation and the second half plus electric will be charged upon arrival. We accept Master Card and Visa. There is a 2 night minimum on holiday weekends.

Long Wharf Reservations: (Vessels 100 ft. and larger) will be charged the full amount of the stay, at the time of the reservation.

Cancelation Policy:

If given within 48 hours, it will result in dockage credit good anytime within a one year period. Reservations will still need to be made to ensure slip availibility. If there is no telephone call or the vessel is a no show, the deposit is forfeited.

**The cancelation policy is not for Long Wharf Reservations.

Check Out Policy:

Check out is at 11:00 a.m. If you would like to stay later, the short stay rate of $1.25 per ft., for up to 3 hours would be charged. NOTE: THIS WOULD ONLY BE POSSIBLE, IF THERE IS A DOCKAGE/MOORING AVAILABILITY.

Rafting:

Rafting is not permitted at any of our docks or moorings.
