[ARCHIVED] Volunteer at AFTEE (All for the East End) presents Show Time in Southampton
Volunteer at AFTEE (All for the East End) presents Show Time in Southampton
Volunteers Needed: 30-40 per night
-Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm
-July 17 and 18; July 24 and 25, July 31 and August 1
-The Elks Lodge, 605 County Rd 39, Southampton
-A series of Drive in Movies/Events to Benefit All For The East End
As a volunteer, you will help AFTEE reduce event expenses and provide more funding to address food instability and emerging issues caused by the pandemic on the East End.
Ideally, we would like to have a group of volunteers who return each weekend. However, we understand that is a large time commitment. We are asking each volunteer to sign up for at least two nights.
The drive in starts at 8pm, Volunteers would arrive at 7pm and be on duty until the movie is over and the crowd has left, approximately 11pm.
Volunteers will report to and be directed by our professional security company. In your role as volunteer, you will be assigned an area to supervise. Each car will
have a specific marked spot -half for the car and an additional space for
"tailgating" -chairs etc. When they are outside of their spot, walking to a food truck or restroom, masks are required.
Groups of volunteers will report to a captain. That will be the person you go to if you have any questions, an emergency or if someone needs to leave before the movie is over.
Volunteers will be given an AFTEE tee shirt which will identify you as a volunteer.
