Chapter 265: VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC
§ 265-43 Parking during snowfall.

[Amended 11-29-1978 by L.L. No. 10-1978; 3-3-1987 by L.L. No. 1-1987; 1-2-1990]

A.
The parking or standing of a motor vehicle on any street in the Village at any time between the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., after there has been an accumulation of snow to a depth of two inches or more on such street during a snowfall, is hereby prohibited. The parking or standing of a motor vehicle on any street in the Village at any time between the hours designated in any snow emergency declaration declared by the Mayor, after there has been an accumulation of snow to a depth of two inches or more on such street during a snowfall, is also hereby prohibited.

B.
The Village Police may cause the removal, to a suitable place, of any vehicle which is parked in violation of this section. The expense of such removal and storage shall be paid by the owner of such vehicle prior to the release of such vehicle.

PUBLIC NOTICE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Village of Sag Harbor Harbor Historic Preservation and Architectural Review Board meeting scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2015 has been cancelled due to no quorom. The Board will resume regular business on Monday, February 23, at 5:00 p.m.

Petition of Luann de Lessups for an exemption from the temporary moratorium on wetland permit review and wetland permit approval, for property located at 30 John Street, Sag Harbor, New York, SCTM # 0903-4-2-12, R-20 Zoning District. The parcel contains an area of 14,160 square feet. The property is improved with a single family dwelling, wood deck, outdoor shower, brick patio, a dock, a shed, and a garage. Petitioner proposes to construct a second story addition, and second story deck above the existing kitchen, a dormer above the existing house, renovation of interior and existing exterior siding, roofing, chimneys, and the construction of a new gabled roof above the front steps, pursuant to plans prepared by Griefenstein Boyce Associates, dated September 3, 2014.

Petition of Prudence Kwan for an exemption from the temporary moratorium on wetland permit review and wetland permit approval, for property located at 12 Wilson Place, Sag Harbor, New York, SCTM # 0903-4-3-29, R-20 Zoning District. The parcel contains an area of 11,250 square feet. The property is vacant. Petitioner proposes to construct a new two story, single family dwelling, with carport, driveway and associated septic system and drainage structures.

Any person wishing to be heard on said application and petition may appear at the time and place of the hearing, in person, by attorney, or agent, or may submit written comments on the same, which comments shall be delivered to the Office of the Village Clerk of the Village of Sag Harbor, at the Village Municipal Building, 55 Main Street Sag Harbor, New York before or at the hearing. A copy of the petition may be obtained and is available for public review during normal business hours at the Office of the Village Clerk of the Village of Sag Harbor.
